So, yeah, another two months or so on from the last time I updated this damned thing and promised myself I'd keep it updated. So much for willpower. Anyway, I'm actually up to almost the end of the McCoy era now so figured it's time for some catchup. Can't really be bothered writing much other than bog standard scores (so that is what will follow) but first, Shada...
A story broken up by BBC strikes during filming, so never got completed. It's possible I still harbour resentment about this to this very day because I adore this story. Cambridge, Time Lords and ridiculous costumes all brought together by Douglas Adams. The very definition of win/win.
There is debate about whether this story really counts. It does. If the mark of canonicity is broadcast then Dimensions in Time and Curse of the Fatal Death count, which they don't. Shada has been released in more formats that most broadcast stories. And it's brilliant.
Obviously not an in depth review, here, but I love this story and Tom Baker is superb in it.
