I'm inspired to write a little more about this season for nostalgia sake. This season is the first time I have real memories of watching Doctor Who as a child. Obviously I recall Pertwee stories that were repeated but I was watching these as they were going out.
Time and the Rani - Weird story - Sylvester's Doctor is clownish and irritating right from the start. He never settles down in this. A shame as Kate O'Mara is fantastic again as The Rani and she outclasses everyone else on the screen - 4
Paradise Towers - Now here I have real childhood memories. The cleaners scared the life out of me. Obviously at the age of 36 they scared me less and the poor acting on some parts and not great scripting didn't help. But I still think thus is very underrated and atmospheric and I can see where the 10 year old me started falling in love with the show - 7
Delta and the Bannermen - No redeeming features whatsoever. Just awful. Bad script, bad acting, bad everything - 0
Dragonfire - introduces Ace and has a very dark villain. Crap cliffhanger at the end of Part 1, mind, but is pretty solid - 7
